More Imperialists

We're back from our vacation in the Veneto and here are some more Imperial troops that I was working on both before we left and since we returned.

The first unit is another battalia of shielded spearmen to strengthen the line, as usual, these are Forest Dragon models printed by MGS Miniatures and bought through Etsy.

A second unit of crossbowmen have also been added.

There were enough spare crossbowmen to also add a detachment of skirmishers.

I've also added a second detachment of Forlorn Hope with swords and pistols.

I was a bit of a clumsy oaf when painting these and a drop meant that quite a few swords were broken and plumes were lost!

In a break from the Royal Blue and Amber, I decided to relive my classic fantasy days of yore and add a unit of Ogres to the army.

There was a suitable ogre left over to use as a heroic leader in the force.

Finally, our Midgard games often require one or more objective to hold and capture, so  bought these files from Cromarty Forge and chum Martyn printed them off for me.

Like the earlier Vampire force, I've got way more troops than any reasonable person would need for a game but the painting continues....
