Normans & Vikings Saga Club Night

Lee and I had a couple of games of Saga on Tuesday Night, myself with Vikings and Lee with Normans. First of all we played the Escort game where my Vikings barged through the Norman lines with cattle, sheep and horses in tow. It was a bit touch and go at the start as a large unit of 8 Hirdmen succumbed to bow fire but eventually some great rolling on my part saw the Normans scattered to the winds.

Rather put out with the poor performance of his Normans, Lee rolled up the scenario for the next game, we would be playing Sacred Ground, an easy-peasy mission for the Normans to win, and they rightly did so. On turn six I had been knocking lumps off of the Normans, but we realised that with his lead in Sacred Ground points I could never win the game.

One game each and I forgot to take many photographs.
