Miliciano Reinforcements from Salute

At Salute eighteen more Milicianos were recruited from Empress and the first eight are ready for service against the Fascists on the front line.

As well as three rifle armed Milicianos, we also have a Bugler and a pair of Dinamiteros.

These were done in my standard method of base-coat, wash and then highlights, finished off with some detail picked out in W&N Peat Brown inks.

Remember, this is 2014 smoking is neither big nor clever but in the 1930's it was cool to be lighting your dynamite from a Gauloises.

  3. Some of your best work Scrivs...you've real captured these guys well. I have quite a few Militia in the breach to be painted and viewing your colour combinations is really helping.

    Great stuff.

  4. Thanks chaps, if you want to know any particular colours used then let me know. Mainly on these Dark Prussian Blue, German Camouflage Beige, Light Green Blue and Olive Grey. I try to use four main colours on each batch of six and then change one colour when I do the next batch.
