Burma 1945 collection: £1250.00
Sold
Since we moved back to the UK and downsized, I want to move on some of the stuff that I'm just not playing with anymore.
I had a blast researching and painting this collection, but being honest with myself I've used these troops and terrain once in the past ten years so they can go to someone who can give them the use they deserve.
So, what do you get for £1250.00:
- Over 200 infantry, enough for two platoons of 14th Army British, one Platoon of 14th Army Gurkhas and two Platoons of Japanese plus plenty of support options. All magnetized and supplied in three magnetic receptive 4L Really useful boxes.
- Three armoured vehicle: A Sherman V of Probyns horse, a Universal Carrier and a Chi-Ha
- Four scratch built buildings, a pair of log bunkers and about 24" of entrenchments.
- Terrain pieces, a well, a Burmese toilet and some objective markers plus a 9L Really Useful box of jungle terrain (some of which you can see in the photos).
Most of the figures are from The Assault Group, but there are a few from Warlord Games, Artizan Designs and Too Fat Lardies.
Posted in the UK for £20.00, or collect from Ruddington, Nottinghamshire.

I'd suggest reading Quartered Safe Out Here by George McDonald Fraser, it was my inspiration for this project!
If you search the Battle of Meiktila on the Scrivsland blog, you'll find many of the painting and gaming articles I wrote when creating this force.
