This weekend I finished off painting a pair of Perry Miniatures 3" mortars to the current painting project representing troops of the 5th Indian Division during the 1941 campaign against the Italians in East Africa.
Very nice models to work with and a bargain at £7.00 for the mortar and four crewmen. I used my standard method for doing the Indians.
The bases are Renedra 40mm squares and 20mm rounds.
Here are some close-ups of the individual models. Sorry about the quality of the images, no natural light while I am at home, so done under the fluorescents on my office desk.
Nice support, Paul. These figures don't look as "chunky" as most other 28mm figs. Best, Dean

DeleteThe Perry models are more of a 'fine scale' so no great big hands, faces or weapons. They are really nice once you get around the fact that they are correctly proportioned.
Well done, again.Your basing is particular nice.
ReplyDeleteMore great work!
