This week I've been back working on the Imperialist Army for our 10mm Midgard games. More characters, a strong force of Gendarmes and a unit of crossbowmen muster in the army!
Four more command stands added, the first one is the leader of one of the infantry contingents accompanied by his banner man.
The next character is a devout warrior priest ensuring the force obeys the gods!
Another mounted commander with his bannerman, this pair are part of one of the spear command stands, but, clip off quite nicely to make a mounted commander and aide.
The final character is a champion to lead a unit of Gendarmes.
The army already has a mounted contingent of three units of Ritter armed with swords and pistols, but if the undead are to truly be banished then some Gendarmes are going to be key!
I've kept a common theme, but with slight differences to distinguish the military orders, the first unit has blue lances with gold pennants.
The second unit has gold lances with blue pennants.
While the final unit has black lances with gold pennants, the standard of this unit was also trimmed black.
The final unit in this batch is a unit of crossbowmen to add to the arquebusiers in the initial force.
Really enjoying painting these Forest Dragon miniatures.
