How can the Danse be stopped?

It's been a while since I updated the blog, but in that time I've been busy painting up some Imperialists for our 10mm Midgard games to battle against all those Undead.

Victoria also has an Art Exhibition coming up soon so there has been an extended moratorium on using static grass in the house :D

All these factors combine to one massive photo dump!

First up, six characters to lead the expedition against the restless dead!

Three units of sword and pistol armed Ritter currently make up the cavalry contingent, these will be bolstered by some heavier Gendarmes over the next few painting sessions!

Two units of Halberdiers form the core of the infantry line.

These are supported by two units of Spearmen.

Fire support comes from a couple of units of Arquebusiers.

The last of the infantry contingent is a Forlorn Hope of a unit of Swordsmen and a unit of Aquebusiers

I've got quite a bit more infantry to add, probably about as much again to get painted!

Finally, the big hitters, three batteries in the Artillery park!

I'll be adding a lot more to this force over the coming weeks, but there is enough for their first game tonight. As newly painted, I reckon they are going to be on the end of a sound thrashing!
