War of the Spanish Succession Bavarian and French(1)
After all that grey painted of late I've added a splash of colour to the War of the Spanish Succession collection with a unit each of French dragoons and Bavarian foot.
Firstly two mounted squadrons of the Hautefort regiment.
I've also completed two dismounted squadrons of Hautefort dragoons.
I've been wanting to add a contingent of Bavarians for a while, so the first unit painted was a battalion of the Spelberg regiment.
I'll have to get them in action soon, else they shall be organising beer festivals and designing superior horseless carriages.
Below are some closeups of that lovely cornflower blue.
As usual, all the figures are from Baccus 6mm

Inspiring indeed! Thanks for posting this. It's an encouragement for me to continue raising my 6mm armies. I wish someone would produce some different infantry poses in 6mm,.....the march attack pose gets a bit boring after a while.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I find them quite easy to Paint in this pose. My ACW and AWI collection have troops advancing and firing but I quite like this pose for the WSS
