This weeks output has been a continuation of last weeks work on the War of the Spanish Succession collection with both French and Allied troops added.
First up, two more squadrons of French Chevau-légers grey coats with red turn-backs they could be from one of over 80 regiments. I've now got 14 squadrons of these done and another two on the painting table, it probably is time to add some more colourful horse to the French.
The French were also quite light on guns so a pair of cannon were added, one field piece and a lighter gun.
Last week I painted the mounted component of Hay's Dragoons for the Allies, this week I finished off the dismounted bases, I got the horse colours right this time.
Last troops for this week are a pair of bases of pioneers, suitable for both French and allies.
On the painting table at the moment are both mounted and dismounted French dragoons, more Chevau-légers and the first infantry from a Bavarian contingent. Wednesday is a public holiday so hopefully a bigger update next weekend.
