Re-based the Christian Spanish too

Following on from the recent re-basing exercise with the Berbers I have now done the same with the Christian Spanish.

I'm very happy with the result and I'm sure they now match in much better with those of regular opponents Tom and James.

Here are a whole load of images, all the figures are from the Perry Miniatures First Crusade range.

Commanders

First unit of Cabbaleros

Second unit of Cabbaleros

Third unit of Caballeros

Unit of Jinetes

Unit of Peones

Unit of Peons

Unit of Mercenary Spearmen

Unit of Ballesteros

Unit of skirmishers

Cavalry casualty markers

Infantry casualty markers

The entire force

  4. Thank you

The coarse sand used on these bass was from Catalonia and I am back there now replenishing my supplies.

Also researching Tapas and Cervesas :)

  5. Sand from Catalonia. Your attention to detail is most admirable! What's you paint formula for your new bases? I am thinking of rebasing my own El Cid stuff for Hail Caesar and would like to aim for a more central southern Spain earth tone.

  6. Thank you

The paint is Daler Rowney yellow ochre drybrushed uo with Vallejo ivory.

Probably much too yellow but will mix well with Tom and James figures.
