Napoleonic villagers

Continuing with the latest set of posts, here are the last four of the Napoleonic era civilians from Front Rank.

Mister Hamilton is leading his pack horse into town laden with goods for sale, he's wearing his best mustard coat and blue waistcoat in the hopes that he'll meet the Widow Fisher whose husband perished in the breach at Badajoz.

Farm labourer Ned Gambol should be gathering hay, but instead is on the cut with a tankard of scrumpy. He'll catch it if the squire sees him.

With his selection of wares on show Eric the pedlar hopes to make a pretty penny at the market today.

Barnabus Cobb made his fortune in India and now spends his time in sporting pursuits, he's accompanied by his faithful hound Madras.

I must admit that I had forgotten to paint the dog, so it was a quick five minute job before basing.

These have been fun to paint, but now it's back to the troops with more Anglo-allied infantry on deck right now.

  1. Another nice batch of Napoleonic "civvies" and I like all the little back stories too!

  2. Fine civvies Paul. They have lots of character and will liven up your battlefields.

  3. Such nice work, and every piece with a backstory. The folk are destined to provide many quips as they appear on the table. Thanks for pointing out and sharing the range like this.
