If you came here because you followed a link from TMP, you have been duped. Tango01 does not exist, he is a sock puppet account of TMP Editor and the post you followed was just a pathetic attempt to drive traffic to the cesspit that is TMP by using SEO. Don't support TMP it steals content.
Quite the milestone this week, every figure I had in the backlog for the El Cid collection is painted.
First I completed these four Perry Miniatures Hospitaller Knights from their First Crusades range. They also follow the gold and red theme that is replicated throughout the force.
There were also a few Gripping Beast Moors left to paint, just a couple of archers and a camel rider.
These last seven figures mean that is it for adding to the collection, it now runs to about 900 pieces and fills eight really useful boxes, I think I can probably say that I really don't need any more figures for this period. But, never say never!
Here's some more shots of these last few.
Great work, Paul! The project is complete? Who knew that was possible? Having 900 pieces in the project is huge. You may not need any more but never say never. Love the camel and rider especially.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jonathan, nothing is ever really complete and they are a delight to paint, so I'll never say never....
DeleteGreat work and a completed project
ReplyDeleteThanks Neil
DeleteWow, wonderful and colorful figures!
ReplyDeleteCheers Phil
DeleteExcellent work Paul!
ReplyDeleteThank you Michal
DeleteWell done Paul...
ReplyDeleteA finished project... nope... no matter how I look at it these words in that arrangement just make no sense what so ever... in fact I find them quite unsettling.
900 figures... that’s going to look good when they are all on the table...
How about a parade...
All the best. Aly
Cheers Aly, I have a big game planned for 15th Feb, so hopefully will get a few shots of the entire collection then.
