I had a bit of a lie in this morning, but as usual I was still up before Victoria and was able to crack on and get five figures highlighted before breakfast and another five base-coated and washed.
We then went for a walk along the Cornish Coastal Path starting at Constantine Bay and heading towards Padstow.
However the predicted showers were more constant and persistent than we had hoped so after about an hour we turned back at Trevose Head. Some spectacular scenery and hairy drops on the path:
Having admitted defeat in the walk we went into Padstow and did the touristy thing.
Back to the cottage in time for a late lunch and then it was on to the job in hand. I painted up another 10 Moroccan Regulares including finishing off the Type 22 LMG team started yesterday and also adding another. I also painted the Sargento Primero.
Yesterday I base-coated the Caid and the Teniente so today was also able to do the highlights on these.
I now have the remaining 11 Moroccan Regulares base-coated and sepia washed, the target is to get these finished tomorrow so that I can make a start on James' La Legion.
They look great Paul....
